Note: This feature is available only to administrators.
User viewing options control which features, product data, and display elements are visible to all users (including administrators) throughout your DolphinRTK system. Each option is described below. To change any of these options, see the procedure after the option descriptions.
These options control the visibility of primary product information.
HMIS: Select to allow users to view products' HMIS hazard ratings, edit products' HMIS ratings, and/or run reports showing HMIS hazard ratings (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
NFPA: Select to allow users to view products' NFPA hazard ratings, edit products' NFPA ratings, and run reports showing NFPA hazard ratings (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Synonyms: Select to allow users to view products' synonyms, edit products' synonyms, and/or search using products' synonyms (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Bar-Codes: Select to allow users to view products' bar-codes, edit products' bar-codes, and/or search for products' bar-codes (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Internal ID: Select to allow users to view products' internal IDs and/or edit products' internal IDs (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Primary CAS: Select to allow users to view products' primary CAS numbers and/or edit products' primary CAS numbers (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Characteristics: Select to allow users to view products' physical characteristics, edit products' characteristics, and or run reports based on characteristics (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
These options control the visibility of additional product information.
Locations: Select to allow users to view products' locations, edit products' locations, search by products' locations, and/or run reports based on product locations (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Ingredients: Select to allow users to view products' ingredients, edit products' ingredients, search by products' ingredients, and/or run reports based on product ingredients (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Ingredient List Matching: Select to allow users to view products' ingredient list matching data and/or run reports based on list matching (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Attachments: Select to allow users to view products' attachments and/or edit products' attachments (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
Hazard Classifications: Select to allow users to view products' hazard classifications, edit products' hazard classifications, and/or search by products' hazard classifications (as appropriate to each user's permissions).
These options control the visibility of functions performed at the product level.
Label: Select to allow users to generate and print product labels.
Print: Select to allow users to print MSDSs.
Email: Select to allow users to email links to products in your DolphinRTK system.
These options control the visibility of the constant elements of the DolphinRTK display.
Admin: Select to add the Admin button to the main toolbar at the bottom of the DolphinRTK display, allowing user access to administrative features.
Reports: Select to add the Reports button to the main toolbar at the bottom of the DolphinRTK display, allowing user access to reports.
Help and Glossary: Select to add the Help and Glossary button to the main toolbar at the bottom of the DolphinRTK display, allowing user access to DolphinRTK Help
Hide Logo Space: Select to remove the DolphinRTK logo area from the left side of the DolphinRTK display.
Select this option to have each Product Information page show its MSDS display only; all other data areas and tools are removed.
To change your system's user viewing options:
Starting at the Administration page
Under System Preferences, click Viewing Options.
The User Viewing Options display opens.
Select or clear each viewing option to add or remove it in your DolphinRTK system for all users. (See above for details on each option.)
Click Save in the lower right.
Your DolphinRTK system now shows features, product data, and display elements according to your new selections.
